This tour designed for those with a lust for discovering the essence of a people, for those who crave a day-to-day insight into what Ireland and Scotland are like behind the façade. Ireland and Scotland are well known for their dramatic landscape highlights but on this tour, you will get a sense of how truly beautiful these isles are once you are off the beaten track. There are hidden gems down every back road! On this feat of cultural immersion, you become most familiar the authentic charm that shapes this land and people through music, craft, food, adventure and getting to know our history from a local’s perspective. This is a unique itinerary built on reverence and respect for an ancient people and most a vibrant culture. Only journeying via this orientation will you be able to unlock the true magic that these destinations hold.

Days 1-3

Day 1 &2: Arrive in Edinburgh, Overnight in Deluxe Room, The Balmoral Hotel
With plenty of free time in your first 2 days, explore Edenborough like a local as you attend the city’s beloved rugby team and enjoy a guided tasting in a underground speakeasy known little by even the city’s habitants.

Day 3: Inverness, Overnight in Superior Room, Rockpool Reserve.
Meet your private Scottish driver guide as you tour to the highland’s capital, Inverness via the amazing cairngorms and stone haven. Enjoy private husky-sled riding with Scottish locals along the way and private live musical pub crawl upon arrival into Inverness.

Days 4-6

Day 4 & 5: Overnight in suite, Glencoe house. Enjoy a driver guided private off the beaten track tour of the Scottish Highlands from Inverness to the enchanting Glencoe where you’ll stay in the eco-luxury Glencoe House. While enjoying the fairy-tale like surrounding area we have arranged Scottish Kilt making with Kinloch & Anderson and Private highland pottery class to connect you with the countryside locals.

Day 6: Overnight in Loch view Suite, Cameron House Hotel
On your last day in Scotland, escorted by your driver guide make your way to the stunning Loch Lomond & Trossachs national where you will embark on a seaplane tour of the landscape and stay in a secluded luxury Hotel. On the way also enjoy a quick stop in Glasgow for a private food tour of the retro-artsy city.

Day 7-9

Day 7: Arrive in Dublin, Overnight in Suite, Brooklodge and Macreddin Village. After a quick flight from Glasgow to Dublin, begin exploring Wicklow, known as the garden of Ireland. Here you will explore its scenic highlights with your Irish driver guide. In the evening enjoy a relaxing private craft beer and food pairing along with a short tour of Wicklow brewery.

Day 8: Overnight in Manor House Executive, Mount Juliet Estate.Leave Wicklow behind as you make your way to the Medieval city of Kilkenny after a visit to a Famous Irish Chef’s family farm home for a private cooking class and of course an indelible private sheep dog demo with the famous backdrop of Glendalough.

Day 9: Overnight in Manor House Executive, Mount Juliet Estate.
Delve deep into local culture today as you embark on a private walking tour of Kilkenny and experience a hands on glass blowing lesson where you get to keep the piece you make with our glass blowing experts. In the evening enjoy a home cooked meal in a historic family home with a friendly couple from Kilkenny.

Days 10-15

Day 10 and 11: Overnight in Executive King Room, Glenlo AbbeyTravel to Connemara and stay in Galway’s famous Glenlo Abbey. Over the next few days explore the Cliffs of Moher, enjoy an authentic experience in the middle of the Burren with a local family in their Irish smoke house and enjoy a private hiking tour of Connemara with famous Irish Archaeologist.

Day 12 & 13: Overnight in Deluxe Room, Lough Eske CastleMake your way to Irelands ancient and favoured by locals Donegal. Here Enjoy a secret Ireland experience as you travel Ireland through the ages as you get to meet local personalities often in their very own home, with each century pre-themed with a wide array of unique and authentic elements fitting of that era.

Day 14 & 15: Overnight in King Room, Shelbourne HotelEnjoy a tour from Donegal to Dublin city and enjoy the evening at your leisure. The next day depart Ireland via a private chauffer to the airport as always with a personalized gift from Indelible Travel by Dunne and Ryan.
